  8. Hey, this is Ear.  Well this is a very un sophisticated program,
  9. but it works.  There are also several text files on making your BBS
  10. safe.  There are MANY backdoors, and hiding places in RG.  None
  11. specifically made by the author.  They just happened out of
  12. circumstance, and we have to deal with them.  You may not know them
  13. all, and that's fine, but I know as many or more then most, as I
  14. have direct ties to Cott Lang.  The newest "HACK" for RG is the
  15. worst.  Currently as of 6/14/94 Cott has denied that it exists. 
  16. But dammit!  It does.  I allows a user to hang the board from
  17. anywhere on the system.  Even before there a user.  Also there are
  18. rumors that he can use some dos commands to receive control of your
  19. dos in turn screwing up your HD, BBS and whatever the else
  20. he/she/it wants.  We have to face up to it, there is no way around
  21. it, there are hackers and they are going to Hack, and I am going
  22. to try and make there job hell.  So follow this Easy guide and lets
  23. make renegade work.  Included in this should be:
  24. 1 Batch File (HACKPFRG.BAT)
  25. 1 Readme.1st (what you're reading)
  26. 1 HACKFREE.TXT 
  27. 1 File_id.diz
  28. 1 CaNCeR.NFO
  29. 1 CoD.NFO
  30. and when you unzipped it you should have gotten a Authenticity
  31. Verified.  If not, don't use this.  Its been tampered with.

  46. much all that exist hopefully.  This is version 1.0 Beta.  I will
  47. be constantly upgrading this so please stay up with the upgrades
  48. for best protection.  Also, feel free to spread this around, just
  49. do not charge for it, and do not change any of it.  The only part
  50. that you may change is the batch file and that is for personal use.
